Alexander has directed, shot, produced, and edited a wide variety of film projects ranging from commercial, music, and art videos that have reached millions online, to documentaries that have been featured in film festivals internationally and broadcast nationally. He has shot commercials for major brands such as Google, USAA, Jagermeister, and Georgia Power. He has also shot projects for HBO, CNN, VH1, Discovery, Fusion, NYtimes.com, Great Big Story, and CNBC, as well as created a number of fundraising videos that have raised tens of thousands of dollars for New Orleans youth programs. While it is rare to claim propensity in both the director and DP roles, having directed (and edited) two award-winning, feature-length films, Alex has become fluent in every phase of production, developed a strong understanding of perspective, story structure and emotional rhythm, as well as learned how to effectively delegate and lead a team. But the merging of his background in visual art with an infatuation with cinematography has him most often finding himself on set as the director of photography. While having a love for directing, he feels most at home with a camera in his hands, composing frames, painting with light and color, and crafting a visual language to serve a story and a directors’ vision.

I'm an Oscar-nominated and two-time Emmy-winning filmmaker and photographer based on the East Coast, USA. I'm the DP and producer of Academy-Award nominated film and Netflix Original "Heroin(e)" and the Netflix Original Documentary "Recovery Boys." For over 30 years with Turner Broadcasting: from his early days as a Video Journalist for CNN to Director of Photography with Turner Studio’s elite Film and Video Unit, Mike was awarded the opportunity to travel the world creating stunning imagery. Artem Nazarov grew up in Penza, Western Russia. The son of a photographer, he was surrounded by his father’s cameras throughout his childhood and has always felt at home in a darkroom. These early experiences stirred his curiosity and sparked his love for and pursuit of photography as a profession. In 2003, after specializing in Intellectual Property law at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Science, Nazarov immigrated to the United States. He moved to Atlanta in 2008 to continue his education at the Portfolio Center, with a concentration in photography. Nazarov finds inspiration in the stories of people from all over the world whom he meets during his travels and assignments. He believes photography is a spectacular way to explore the world, enriching and transforming life beyond the threshold of perceived reality. Artem teaches Visual Story Telling at Miami Ad School and is a Board Member of Good Thinking Atlanta. Gabriela Díaz Arp is an independent director and producer passionate about the ways visual language can deepen human understanding and connection. She has directed and produced a number of independent films, exhibits and interactive experiences, as well as co-founded production companies Rabbit Raccoon and Las Palmas Studio. Some of her clients include New York Times, Blue Chalk Media, CNN International, Univision, Emory University and the United Nations. She is currently working on her first feature film in her motherland of Puerto Rico. The film, Matininó, tells the story of a multi-generational family of women transforming their experience with domestic violence and misogyny into a science fiction film. Her last film, Meeting a Monster, which explores the memories and motivations of former white supremacist Angela King through a virtual reality experience, premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was shown at festivals around the world including Cannes NEXT, Sheffield Doc Fest, Atlanta Film Festival and New Orleans Film Festival. Gabriela has a Master's in Visual Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been a Knight Fellow with the Sundance Institute, a participant in Oculus’s VR for Good program, and most recently a Studio IX grantee, honoring her work as both a mother and filmmaker.

Jason O'Brien is an independent filmmaker based in Birmingham, AL who has been creating original content and working as a director, producer, cinematographer, writer, and editor for over 15 years. He founded his production company Fast Lane Productions in 2014 (www.flprods.com). Using precise and illustrative cinematic images, Patrick Bresnan makes verité stories that counter the mythic concepts of America. He directed and shot THE RABBIT HUNT which premiered in the US at Sundance and in Europe at the Berlinale. The film won over 20 awards including the Cinema Eye Honor. He co-directed and short SKIP DAY which won the grand jury prize at The Directors Fortnight at Cannes. He co-directed, shot and produced the feature film PAHOKEE which premiered in competition in 2019 at Sundance. The following year he was a cinematographer on the Sundance winning feature BOYS STATE. His most recent feature NAKED GARDENS premiered in the 2022 documentary competition at Tribeca and in Europe at IDFA.
