Emir Hadžikadunić is currently an assistant professor at the University of Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Larisa Jasarevic is an anthropologist. Her current research project concerns the ways in which bees and beekeepers in Bosnia weather the changing climate. She is especially interested in the meaning of bees in the Bosnian Muslim culture as well as in deep, ecological insights of Islamic eschatology--the teachings about death and planetary doom. Her research findings are the subject of a book manuscript entitled Beekeeping in the End Times (IUP 2023) and of a documentary film by the same title (currently in post-production). Her previous book, entitled Health and Wealth in the Bosnian Market: Intimate Debt, described close intersections between bodily experience and post-war economy. Larisa taught at the University of Chicago. She is a 2022 Fellow with the Independent Social Research Foundation (ISRF) and a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin.

Dr. Harun Karčić is the Executive Producer of Current Affairs at Al Jazeera's Balkan languages channel. Over the past decade, he has authored numerous articles on Islam in post-communist Bosnia and Herzegovina and the role played by foreign powers in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey and more recently China and Russia. Nidal Šaljić is a documentary photographer, photojournalist, and documentary filmmaker born in Viersen, Germany, who currently lives and works in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a freelancer, Nidal collaborates with many local and international media and his work has been published in RTL News, NRC, The Guardian, and Spiegel. He particularly highlights his collaboration with the EPA-EFE agency and Al Jazeera Balkans on documentary projects, focusing on investigative journalism. His work specifically addresses themes of war memory, inter-religious reconciliation, and women's participation in peace processes, with a special emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nidal's passion for documentary creation was recognized at the Al Jazeera Documentary Festival, where he won an award for Best Short Documentary Film in collaboration with UNFPA. He is currently working on several several documentary projects across Europe and Asia.
