I am Joy Lee, an award-winning Singaporean filmmaker. I am writing to express my interest in working as a cruise videographer and video editor. I am passionate about filmmaking and have geared my education and work experience towards a career in this ever-changing industry. My debut documentary, That's WICKED!, was premiered in several international film festivals, including IDFA 2012 (Amsterdam). It was also nominated for Best Editing and awarded Best Documentary in the Singapore Short Film Awards. Soraya Auer is a video journalist and producer, specialised in fact-checking, OSINT and disinformation. She is based in Singapore, and has reported across Europe, the US and South Asia. An excellent self-shooting producer and editor, she can film on Sony (A7siii, FS7, FS5) and Canon cameras (C300iii, C100) and edit on Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro. She has worked for BBC News for 8 years, as a news writer, social media producer and as BBC Verify's Digital Video Lead in its inaugural year. Yusri Shaggy Sapari is a digital video artist from Singapore. He started his journey recording his grandmother and TV shows on his audio cassette tape recorder as a child. Shaggy runs Paradise Pictures and works as a multimedia artist for theatre performances. Shaggy had the opportunity to be mentored by Brian Gothong Tan as part of the Orange Playground in 2014 to train him into a multimedia designer. As a multimedia designer, Shaggy has worked on shows with the Singapore Theatre Festival, The Esplanade, Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore Repertory Theatre, M1 Singapore Fringe Festival, Bhaskar Arts Academy and The Necessary Stage. Shaggy is also an award winning documentary filmmaker having achieved the Film Grant Award in 2018 with Freedom Film Festival, Nominated for Best Documentary at the National Youth Film Awards 2019, Viddsee Juree Audience Choice Award 2019 and Bronze Award for Excellence in Filmmaking for Spotlight Film Awards in 2019.

Kirsten Han is a Singaporean freelance journalist and writer. Her bylines have appeared in Al Jazeera English, the Guardian, the Diplomat and Southeast Asia Globe, among others. She’s also the Singapore stringer for Deutsche Presse Agentur. She got her start as a production assistant on documentary projects, working on stories that highlighted important issues such as domestic abuse and labour exploitation.
