1 reviewMoises Anaya (1987) was born in Tulancingo, a small city northeast of Mexico City. He studied advertising and is self-taught in film through jobs as a director, editor, and cinematographer on productions for media outlets like NETFLIX, VICE Media, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, various non-profit organizations, and brands like Johnnie Walker, Stella Artois, Coca-Cola Family, NTS and RA. In 2014 he was part of the art project Labor in a Single Shot by Harun Farocki and Antje Ehmann. That same year his short film RAMOS won the jury award of the Docs MX Challenge, and in 2015 he took a directing course at the New York Film Academy, where he was mentored by Director Jonathan Whittaker. As a director, Moises’ short films have been part of festivals such as; Dublin Doc Fest, Docs MX, ICARO Festival of Central America, Short Films Screening China International New Media (CSFF), Zanate Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, and Mix Film Festival, among others.
