I started out as an event videographer, and only in the recent years realized my passion for storytelling so I've switched my career to Documentary filmmaking and creating creative social media content for my clients. I work with my clients from concept and structure, all the way to post production. Being a musician, and having graduated from Sound Engineering, audio and music play a BIG part in all my films to convey the emotion and keeping viewers engaged. A short, docu-style, film about an organization in Cairo that empowers women from lower classes to earn income, learn about parenting, and their value in society. They created a fashion workshop to unite all these women. *What are we doing Today for Tomorrow? Location: Seychelles Client: Expo2020 Dubai Role: Concept, director, DOP, editor. A documentary about the efforts Seychelles is taking to preserve their nature for the generations to come. *Opportunity Location: Cuba Client: Expo2020 Dubai Role: Concept, director, DOP, editor. Not everything is only one thing. A documentary about the opportunities Cuba provides its citizens, from free education, to be able to achieve the bio medical advancements they have so far.
A short, docu-style, film about an organization in Cairo that empowers women from lower classes to earn income, learn about parenting, and their value in society. They created a fashion workshop to unite all these women. This was my first storytelling project, I did it to help Arzaq, and to create a sample of work for myself.
Seychelles is thought to be Paradise for its natural beauty. When the country formed, the forefathers knew the value of these natural resources, and the importance of keeping nature on their side. I got to meet with a few of the ministers in Seychelles to discuss what are these efforts, the government is doing to protect our livelihood.
In Ghana, women are not allowed to own land. Unique Quality Products found a way to use degraded lands that no one wanted to grow a crop indigenous to Tamale in Ghana. This allowed women to earn from their work, own land. This is truly a heartwarming story about how persistence and faith can lead to life changing events.
