The Edge of Existence
Filmed in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti over the course of 3 years, The Edge of Existence reveals the untold story of human-wildlife conflict in Africa. This global issue has reached crisis levels, threatening the survival of both humans and wild animals alike. The film tells the story of key characters on the ground in Tanzania who face daily challenges as they struggle to coexist with Africa’s wildlife. The Edge of Existence is seen through their eyes and told from their point of view. “Human-wildlife conflict is an incredibly complex issue that impacts a huge amount of people worldwide. It is an issue that needs urgent attention and I hope ‘The Edge of Existence’ will stimulate discussions in communities through to governments about how this conflict can be resolved before it is too late.”
