The Invisible Man, on the run from the law, inadvertently impersonates the ghost of Darla's recently dead grandma in order not to get caught. Working with the director we made the world of Darla's grandma and created inventive ways for the invisible man to interact with the environment including, breakable props, rigged set pieces, and custom designs.
Tasked with creating the ultimate grandma Airbnb, we decided to carpet the walls, and add trinkets and odd pictures galore.
I was the production designer in charge of a team of creatives working to design all aspects of the art including set design, fabrication, and props. Working closely with the directors to ensure their vision was able to be achieved.
Purple everything! Sourcing and helping build the furnace with a week's turnaround was a very daunting but fantastic project.
