Animal rights activist Yelena Simakina has been actively rescuing, treating and relocating stray animals for nearly seven years. In addition, the protection of animal rights is one of the main issues that Yelena Simakina has been fighting for all these years. These volunteer activities include rescuing animals, covering all medical expenses, providing proper care for the animals, and vaccinating and sterilizing them in a timely manner. He keeps the rescued animals in a private shelter in Hovsan settlement. Yelena Simakina complains that 8 dogs, which she spent on material and moral resources, were taken away by the staff of the Center for the Care of Stray Dogs. She has filed a lawsuit against the Toplan Stray Dog Care Center. She says that 8 dogs taken by Topla's staff have official passports, vaccination and sterilization documents. Nevertheless, Yelena's repeated official appeals to Toplan were ineffective.
