About
I'm a native West Coaster, but lived in Israel for 7 years where I served in the IDF press office and then interned for an Israeli-Arab NGO. I got my undergrad in Israel in International Affairs and M.E. studies. I am now a part-timer in Columbia Journalism School specializing in broadcast, so I have full proficiency in camera use and editing as well as experience reporting. I have covered a broad spectrum of stories, mostly local news in school and worked on international stories when I interned this past fall with Richard Roth at CNN covering the UN. Ideally, I want to cover people affected by foreign conflicts and international political intrigue as well as more lighthearted cultural fare. At the end of the day I want to tell stories that are compelling, whatever the subject. I'm a fast learner, flexible and I do well under pressure so feel free to contact me if there is a story that needs to be told.
