“The Standing Protest” is a documentary film about a man who inspired Turkish protesters to turn violent demonstrations into one of the most spiritual and creative protests of the 21st century. The documentary takes a look at how the protesters in Turkey used creativity, humor, music and art as forms of non-violent civil disobedience while facing brutal police repression and media blackouts.
