American-Brazilian multilingual and multi-platform journalist, with vast experience covering major events worldwide, from wars and revolutions to economic, political, social, cultural, environmental and sport stories. Travelled for work to more than 30 countries, lived in six of them and fluent in five languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French. Spent most career as an international correspondent and freelancer, for Portuguese and English language newspapers, magazines, news agencies and on-line media, as well as radio and TV. Reported and produced several television documentaries – including an award-winning one on Human Rights in Latin America. Have also filmed my own material. Co-authored a book on Argentina.
