I am a Venezuelan filmmaker and editor based in Mexico City since 2018. I have a degree in Social Communication - Audiovisual Arts from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. My last short film “Don’t worry”, is nominated for best documentary short at the 65 Ariel awards, and had its world premiere at IDFA 2021, was an official selection at La Habana, Guadalajara and Malaga Film Festival; winning “best mexican documentary short film” at the 25th Guanajuato Film Festival. My fiction short film "Bolas Criollas", filmed in Venezuela in 2017, was selected in many international film festivals, including the 22nd Brussels Short Film Festival and the 22nd Cine Las Americas Film Festival. Recently the film was added to the catalog of Retina latina. Between 2018 and 2019 I made the documentary series "Never again in Venezuela", which premiered in its theatrical version at the One World Film Festival 2020, and was awarded with a Suncoast Emmy in the Documentary category - Topical. Between 2018 and 2021 I worked in the news portal Infobae, where I contributed by creating the audiovisual team and I was in charge of the production of branded content. For the last few years I have collaborated as a producer and filmmaker for different agencies and production companies in Mexico city.
