About
As a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer from Karachi, Pakistan, I've been driven by a passion for storytelling since childhood. I began at a local photo studio, learning black and white film processing, then transitioned to advertising agencies.
Now, as a freelancer, I capture the unvarnished truth, shedding light on humanitarian issues, socio-political concerns, and environmental crises. My goal is to rank among the best photojournalists, inspiring change through visual storytelling.
I've contributed to publications like The New York Times, The National (UAE), and The Sunday Times (UK). My photography was featured in "Where Three Dreams Cross" at Whitechapel Gallery, London (2010).
Guided by empathy, authenticity, and courage, I believe photography should spark conversations and inspire action. With every click, I strive to capture the human experience.
