Eric Maierson is a writer and two-time Emmy-winning video editor and producer. His work has appeared on The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post and Time. Most recently he co-wrote and edited the 5-episode Webby-honoree podcast “Covering Their Tracks” for Tablet.
Previously, he was a senior editor at Blue Chalk Media where he edited the Magnolia(Max) series From the Source and Diary of an Old Home as well as co-edited the feature-length documentary Firebreak. He also served as senior producer at MediaStorm, a documentary production company in Brooklyn, New York. There, he edited close to 100 films, including the feature The Distance Between Us.
His short films have played at film festivals across the country, and his prose has appeared in The New Yorker, Playboy, Mountain Man Dance Moves: The McSweeney’s Book of Lists. He is also the writer and director of the critically acclaimed theatrical play Reprise.
