Researching and partially filming this short documentary about Juergen Hinzpeter, a German camera man who filmed the democratic uprising in Gwangju South Korea in 1980 as well as the brutal crack down and slaughter of civilians by the Korean military. He passed away in 2016 but is still remembered and revered in Gwangju where even a memorial altar was prepared for him.
