Juan Maruri (1988) is an independent filmmaker and visual editor. He got a degree in Social Communications at the University of Montevideo (UM: 2008 – 2012) and also obtained a diploma in direction of photography in CLAEH University (2013). He is currently director of the audiovisual company HINT. Also he has worked for national film producers and also for prestigious national and international companies such as BID, UPM and UNICEF.
