Robb Montgomery (@VideoJournalist) is an AWARD-WINNING documentaty film journalist based in Berlin. He specializes in unscripted , photojournalistic stoytelling and films his big-screen epics with small cameras and high production values. He owns a range of cinematic gear from sounddevices Mix-pre, videodevices PixLR and 4k video recorder to the Sony Alpha cam loaded with vintage manual focus cinema primes. He also has an Osmo 4K cam, a slew of Microphones from Neumman and Røde, a GoPro Hero 7 and two 4K mobile cams with Anamorphic and gimbal rigs. He mostly films documentary, travel and street films, but also has a live studio in Berlin with lights, mics and multi-cams live streaming to all platforms He is a a top travel photographer and has filled many Passports for international assignments over the last 15 years. He is a former editor at the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times. At the Tribune, he was the art director for the food section.
