Colored paradise Search for paradise. The documentary develops this idea from the story of people who are looking for it and who, despite their efforts, have not yet found it. Through the show of the clown Pepa Plana "Painted Paradise", a unique look at the problem of migrations to the Mediterranean is proposed. The work confronts several exiles, own and others, looking for a better place to live.
The mutant, vague and melancholy landscape of the Delta is the setting from which Pepa Plana interacts with various agents of this territory in the extreme south of Catalonia, with whom she shares the utopia of seeking paradise, between rice fields and through of art. But "Painted Paradise" also covers some of the spaces that have marked the life of the protagonist, places from which she has always left in search of a new paradise.
This story also takes place in Barcelona, where he studied at the Institut del Teatre, where he consolidated himself professionally and where he has premiered all his productions. Valls, his hometown, also takes center stage in this story, because it is where he first stepped onto a stage and from where he lived his "first migration". In all these spaces she will interact with actors, actresses, friends and family to remember her first artistic and life experiences. With them, he will reflect on topics as diverse as migration, the relationship between the urban and rural worlds or models of artistic production.
