Chris Spannos has 20 years experience as a journalist across multimedia platforms. Most recently he was part of the start-up team hired to launch teleSUR English in Quito, Ecuador. While with teleSUR Chris was Web Editor, publishing 10-20 news articles per day. He was also host of teleSUR's media analysis program "Imaginary Lines," producing 40 episodes, with guests such as Julian Assange, Robert McChesney and many more. Chris has digital media experience, working with data sets, embargoed data, publishing partnerships and more. He began his media career in 1998 with Vancouver Cooperative Radio where he learned to write radio scripts and host shows, producing over 600 shows. Chris was also Web Editor for ZNet, overseeing 90,000 article submissions and personally overseeing publication of more than 30,000 articles during a 4 and-a-half year period. Chris continues to write and produce video and audio media.
