I'm an award-winning director and producer based in New York. I've produced a wide range of documentary and television projects for PBS, A&E, VICE, New York Times, Fusion, CNN, MTV, and several other networks and outlets. Most recently I directed a film about an underground fight club created to stem gun violence for the New York Times, and a harrowing film about the female FARC guerillas of Columbia for the Emmy-nominated VICELAND series "Woman." I've also directed a feature-length documentary titled "The Money Stone" which explores the child labor in African gold mining through the intimate coming-of-age story of two struggling boys.

After his friend was shot on Christmas Eve in 2013, Chris Wilmore — known as Scarface — began recruiting for his backyard fight club, as a way to encourage people to settle disputes with gloves, not guns. In areas where gang violence is rampant it is backyard fight clubs that help settle disputes or get people off the streets and into the ring.
