Inside the COVID Unit is a five-part episodic documentary that I directed, produced, filmed and edited. The series published in April 2021 in the Miami Herald. It won two Suncoast Emmy awards and screened in two film festivals.
I was hired by FloSports to direct, produce and edit two short documentaries for an Asics series featuring female trailblazers and future stars. This short documentary about future star Kylie Welker published in January 2022.
Displaced, Not Erased is a short documentary that I pitched, directed, produced, filmed and edited. It investigates an out-of-town company that quickly and quietly bought up most of a historically black neighborhood in Austin, Texas. The documentary won a Lone Star Emmy award in 2019 in the category of Journalistic Enterprise.
Most Austinites dislike grackles - loud, intrusive birds that crowd grocery stores, steal food and lay waste all over parking lots. But artists in the community point out that these "bad birds" are not so different from the rest of us and in fact, deserve to be celebrated.
