Andrew Stehney Vargas is a bilingual (eng-span) writer, director, producer and photographer. A graduate of the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, his award-winning short films have been featured at film festivals across the U.S., Latin America and Europe. He honed his skills as a video and feature documentary producer with Philadelphia-based Media in Neighborhoods Group, where he developed content for non-profit and corporate clients with a focus on social justice. As a staff writer for Remezcla, he published daily articles covering diverse topics related to Latino culture, and his freelance writing has been published in Indiewire, MTV World, Papercut, Den of Geek and La Respuesta.
