I am a freelancer photographer and documentarist based btw São Paulo and NYC. Born in1987 in São Paulo. Nowadays, I'm splitting my time between press assignments, long term artistic projects and creating visuals for brands.
Currently finishing my first feature documentary as a director, a film entitled "Mud Trail" that tells the story of the social and ecological disaster in Mariana, Brazil, through the eyes of two boys in their early 20's. The film was part of the Documentary Summer Lab at Union Docs, in New York, 2017.
In October, 2017, I was selected to be an artist in residency in Goa, India, as part of "The Story of Space Festival" with the project "Missing Women" explores the space of women in Brazilian and Indian societies.
My photo work has featured in exhibits in New York, Berlin and São Paulo.
I also work with media, text and visual communication for festivals and brands. I graduated in Journalism at PUC São Paulo in 2010. And in 2012 I graduated from International Center of Photography in NYC - Photojournalism and Documentary program.
