Steve is a self-taught cinematographer following his intuition and act by feeling. Growing up shooting action sports had been the biggest contributing factor in his talent with filmmaking and this helped him to see things from different perspectives. He has progressed from making drift videos, to producing content for remarkable companies both in Greece and around the world. His work is recognised in the automotive community and is raising the bar one video at a time. With creative solutions and open-mind look his is focusing on the “feeling” of every project and tries to work intuitively to produce quality content.
This short film was a special and challenging project for me and my team, as I wanted the film to have an 80’s feeling. The challenge was to introduce some key elements into the story that would make a drift clip look like a standalone pursuit scene. Filmed in really low light conditions across multiple camera platforms such as Sony FS700, Canon C300, Panasonic Lumix GH4 and Canon 6D.
