Amitabh Joshi is an award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer whose work spans feature films, documentaries, and branded content. With a strong instinct for storytelling and a distinct cinematic style, he is a sought-after creative in both Nepal and the U.S., bringing extensive cultural knowledge and experience working across South Asia. His latest work includes co-directing a short film for American Masters and Firelight Media as part of the Masters in the Making series. He also co-produced the feature documentary A Little Wisdom, which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival, had its U.S. debut at SXSW in 2018, and won the Viewfinders Competition at DOC NYC. His first feature documentary, Tashi’s Turbine, was supported by the Center for Asian American Media Documentary Fund, premiered on PBS's WORLD Channel, received a Special Jury Mention at CAAMFest 2015, and won the Jury Prize at the BBVA Mountain Film Festival in 2016.

Ghiling's Green House is a short film. It won the World Wild Life Fund Award at the Kathmandu International Film Festival 2014. The film is about Tenzin Chompel and his revolutionary school. Tenzin escaped Tibet into Nepal in the 1950s. He settled in the village of Ghiling and developed a self-sufficient green house for a remote school in Mustang, Nepal
