Working in media production for close to a decade, I have worked on TV shows, documentaries, ads and music videos, where I took my first steps towards drama and film. After working in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, I moved to Canada where I continue to pursue my goal to become one of the world’s revolutionary filmmakers. Somalia.. The Forgotten Story
I worked closely with a researcher on the academic background, I wrote the pre-production script, shot the film in 4 countries: USA, UK, Somalia and Somaliland, I edited the first cut in Turkey for 2 months and then submitted it to an editor to finalize it.
