I got my start in filmmaking with a point and shoot camera while on a year-long bicycle trip through South America. That led to a passion for visual storytelling and a career spanning documentary, commercial and short-film. I am drawn to the places less traveled and stories untold, a keen listener and proponent of slow travel. I spent five years in Southeast Asia covering stories from Nepal to the Philippines and all points in between. I swapped Asia for an island in Southeast Alaska where I captured the life on commercial fishing boats as well as producing films for various nonprofits and tourism agencies. I now split time between Antigua, Guatemala and Sitka, Alaska. In addition to my own work, I have been a DP for the NPR Tiny Desk Home Concert, Live KEXP at Home, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, The Fishmonger (Outdoor Channel), and Deep Water Salvage (Weather Channel).

Motolao Diaries
Discover Khammouane province of Laos, located in the center of the country. The Mekong River Valley in the west is framed by the Annamite Mountain Range which separates Khammouane from Vietnam to the east. The Limestone Mountains are honeycombed with countless caves, some of which for ages concealed forgotten treasures.
