About
Megan Mack (b.1986) is an MFA graduate from Pratt Institute in NY. She has worked predominantly as a portrait and commercial photographer for over ten years. Currently, she works as an interdisciplinary ecofeminist artist examining social and environmental issues within the more-than-human world. She is currently on staff as a photographer/videographer for Nimiipuu Protecting the Environment.
In 2018 she co-created a photography collective, with photographer and activist Sina Basila, Seeing Collective (SeeC): a space for photographers to share clients, and industry knowledge, and gain critical feedback on personal projects. Recently they teamed up with a local photography school in Bushwick, BKC, where they host talks, promote other artists' work, and curate group shows. In 2020 she helped to co-produce and curated a group show with reliefmarkt.com in an effort to support artists out of work due to Covid-19.
She is available for assignments in NY, CA, and the Pacific Northwest.
