I got my start in the production world at Lunch and Recess, a production company based out of Charleston, SC creating corporate videos for clients all over the southeast. There I got a crash course in field production doing everything from lighting, gripping, field audio, and of course, shooting. While with L&R I worked with tons of clients and traveled all over the southeast and abroad. Eventually I moved on to WCCB-TV in Charlotte, NC where I regularly shot feature pieces and general news for the round the clock news programs. While there I prided myself on my ability to go back and forth instantaneously from run-&-gun breaking news stories to feature stories with elaborate setups.
