I have been working as a journalist, correspondent, reporter, writer, editor, fixer, film maker and interpreter for the past 12 years. I covered wars, domestic violence and all sorts of stories ranging from political to humanitarian stories to artistic, sport, culture and musical events in my home country Palestine as well as UK, Europe where I'm based now. I'm aware of the political spectrum in the UK, and Europe, as well as the US politics. One of my interests is Social Media, which has been the focus on my MA International Relations degree. Currently I'm perusing my PhD in Media and post-colonialism. I was awarded a research scholarship in journalism at Oxford University in 2013/2014.
