Maximina Juson is a film and video producer, director and cinematographer based in Los Angeles. She is director/producer/cinematographer for a documentary project, entitled, "One Person, One Vote?" (post-production) funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Juson is consulting producer of "Mama Bears," a documentary film that will premiere at SXSW 2022. In 2018, she was a producer on "Harlem Rising" for the Harlem Children’s Zone, documenting the organization’s 30-year commitment to breaking the cycle of generational poverty for Harlem families. Juson also directed, produced and edited a video web series for the "Washtenaw ID Project,: documenting a pioneering initiative providing government-issued IDs to disenfranchised communities in Michigan.
