Post colonial Algeria has experienced profound transformation over the last 30 years, the demographic explosion being an important part of it. Today more than 60% of its population is under 30. Inspite of the many social programs in place , the youth is facing unemployment and despair. They ask themselves what is left from the great inspiration that led their parents to fight for the independence.
