About

I am Andrzej /ˈɑndʒeɪ/ Woźniakiewicz, a narrative and documentary Director of Photography. I hold an MA from the Polish National Film School in Łódź and I'm about to start my studies at American Film Institute. With over 20 narrative and documentary projects as well as multiple festival screenings and awards, I bring a distinct, gentle visual style to intimate stories. My cinematography features organic camera work, a love for magical realism, and a deeply collaborative spirit. I am currently lensing the feature documentary "Sugarland" in Mexico, where I lived for eight months. I speak fluent Polish, English, and Spanish, with conversational French. Embracing spontaneity and the unexpected in both life and storytelling, I share it all with good friends—and recently hand-planted 1,000 trees. Also, just recently I've had an honor to participate in documentary workshops mentored by Werner Herzog who worked with me on my documentary film "10 Meters Above".
