Request QuoteI'm a New England based filmmaker and run a production company called Pamola Creative. My company and I focus on telling stories of people, culture, and adventure in the outdoors. We've worked for the Maine Office of Tourism shooting a campaign on the state's night skies, to documentary profiles on Maine business owners. We also dedicate a percentage of our time and energy to working with social justice organizations focused on issues like homelessness, global education, and inner-city youth. Some past work includes a fictional short on a past student from Flying Kites Global in Kenya, to the Winter Walk, an advocacy event focuses on ending homelessness in Boston.
Learning to Listen follows the modern-day vision quest of Maine businessman, Kevin Hancock. When a rare condition leaves him barely able to talk, he heads to Pine Ridge Reservation and the Black Hills of South Dakota on a premonition. In his search to find meaning with no voice, he finds that simply listening makes all the difference.
A Dream To Be Somebody tells the story of Brian, a young boy who found himself orphaned and living alone in one of Kenya's largest slums. Having spent all of his time on the streets near Nairobi's airport, he discovered his dream to become a pilot.
Winter Walk is a campaign raising awareness and funds to help end homelessness in Boston. It connects the community with those who are experiencing homelessness and a chance to listen to their stories. For this year's video, we chose to reflect back on how the Winter Walk has impacted the general public and the homeless communities over its four years.
