I'm the kind of person that will meet strangers on the street and 5 years later call them good friends. I'm a naturally curious person and I am fascinated by people and what makes them tick. When I hunt for stories, I find myself gravitating towards cultural topics and social issues. And my favorite stories are the ones that make connections between the two, like a multimedia piece I did on aging jazz musicians with no social safety nets and an organization that works to provide them with housing and healthcare relief.
