About

As a filmmaker, I understand and value all aspects of the filming process and the creativity it takes to ultimately tell a story that captivates an audience, whether through sheer entertainment, educational motives or by a moral imperative. Each stage of film has to be carefully organized and mapped out, from choosing the right equipment, to casting, to shooting, to selecting the perfect shot, and creating the final cut for a screening. Being apart of several film projects, I have the creative knowledge to tell a visual story from beginning to end, as well as the experience to get the job done. Born and raised in Washington DC, with Jamaican descent, I studied Film and received his B.A. at Howard University and later received a Visual Effects M.A. at SCAD-Atlanta (Savannah College of Arts and Design – Atlanta Campus). I credits Howard University for technically and aesthetically getting him film ready, while SCAD developed his artsy creativity. It’s in Atlanta where I gained several resources and knowledge with the film industry working on major Hollywood sets as a Production Assistant. I was a part of the production crew for the reality series Most Haunted Live, Big Momma’s House, and VH1 Single Ladies. Afterwards in 2011, I moved back to Washington DC to work for Monumental Sports and Entertainment as a Graphic Producer/Video Editor and Videographer. At Monumental, my responsibilities were to create motion graphic elements for in-game arena, producing web and network shows, design event promos, shoot post-game conferences, show segments and interviews; In addition, build corporate marketing spots and commercials. Through these experiences I have establish myself as a respected Filmmaker earning multiple awards including regional Telly Awards for Best Director and Best Video Editor. In addition, it has expanded my breadth of knowledge of the ever-evolving video production industry. My background includes identifying client requirements, managing camera equipment, filming videos, creating shot list, editing content, and delivering the highest quality final products for productions in areas such as sports, concerts, news, digital and social media, commercials, events, and music videos. I have a wide range of industry standard equipment that I use daily. Some of my credentials and client projects I’ve worked on includes Toyota, McDonalds, Cornflakes, Bevel, Wizards Magazine, Verizon, Def Jam, RCA, MMG, Washington Redskins, CNN, Washington Post, MGM Hotel and Casino, and more.
