Request QuoteRaised in France, I always wanted to see the world. For that, I chose documentary filmmaking and videoreporting as an excuse to discover new geographies and chart the lives of others. Based in Cameroon the last 5 years, I covered the biggest news stories across the Central Africa, from refugee camps at the Central African Republic border to the northern cameroonian villages facing Boko Haram. More than 150 reports were broadcasted – from hard news to feature stories and documentaries – always with a common thread: meeting the « Other », respecting one’s word, questioning the truth. Although I was working mainly as a correspondent for France 24, I also reported for Canal+, TV5 Monde, Thomson Reuters and Cameroonian TV. Since a few months I am pursuing the adventure in South-East Asian country Laos, mainly reporting for AFP and Associated Press.

They are shaking up traditions in a country where gender equality leaves much for want. 24 and 21 year-old girls Soudaphone and Phinanong are the first airline pilots in Laos. Their stories inspire women to engage in the first civil aviation school that just opened in Laos.
