One of them is the blockade runner Condor. Sitting 700 yards off the coast of Fort Fisher and 25 feet below the surface, the Condor is considered one of the best preserved Civil War blockade runners

For about one hour, Chemours' Plant Manager Brian Long led about 10 leaders from Bladen County through the facility's outdoor location where $100 million is being invested in air and water emissions reduction technology. WECT were allowed on the tour, but only under certain circumstances. No video recording was allowed and only still photos were permitted at approved locations.
