Her films are about social issues with a personal narrative which have premiered in IDFA, Thessaloniki, Busan International Film Festival, Sheffield, Tribeca, London Film Festival including “Unwelcome in Tehran”, “Profession: Documentaries”, “Braving the Waves” and “The Art of Living in Danger”. Her films have been supported by IDFA Bertha Fund, Sorfond, Fritt Ord, Arte/ ZDF, NRW Cinema Fund and HotDocs International CrossCurrent Theatrical Fund. Besides her films as director, Mina produced “Fish Eye” directed by Amin Behroozzadeh which has been premiered in Visions du Reel 2020. This film won best film in progress award in Sarajevo Film Festival 2019 and nominated for best International Documentary film in DOCPOINT Film Festival Finland and has been screened in more than 20 film festivals around the world and broadcasted widely in Europe.

This is the story of Roghieh, a woman in Southern Iran who is trying to secure jobs for women in her community through a Bazaar she established and runs, where over 800 women work, but a local politician, the mayor, threatens her. He wants to destroy the Bazaar and build a big shopping mall.
Director in a self-portrait way try to find an answer for her question about her marriage. why did she marry when she was so young and why is she thinking about divorce after 5 years living as a married woman.
