Request a demoAs a freelance director and videographer, I specialize in character-driven storytelling for documentary film and TV, branded and corporate content. I have a genuine interest for people with a keen eye to find the elements that build their story. My approach is adaptive, allowing me to dive into wildly different subjects, ranging from Olympic windsurfers to entrepreneurs in Africa and corporate cyber security. In recent years I worked with clients such as Dutch broadcasters, Videoland, Foam Museum, Amazon, Booking and UN Migration (IOM). My work has been selected for film festivals, public TV and on demand platforms.
The Delft Hyperloop Foundation asked me to make a short documentary about their speed record attempt. The documentary (16m.) shows how the student engineers independently design, construct and test their own Hyperloop pod. Will they be able to go faster than 400 kilometers per hour? I directed and shot a documentary about windsurfing for Videoland (the Dutch Netflix). The story is about the competition of two friends competing for one single Olympic ticket.
Documentary series about returning migrants. I shot and edited four episodes in Ethiopia and Malawi. For this project I did cinematography, edit and color grading.
