Alexandra Hall is a bilingual television, radio and print journalist based in Washington, D.C. with experience in Chile and throughout Latin America. During 2013-2014 Alexandra was based in Santiago, Chile where she worked as a writer and translator for CNN Chile and a producer for Radio Cooperativa. While in Washington, D.C., she also worked as an on-camera correspondent for TeleSUR English and on the foreign affairs team at PBS NewsHour. Most recently she worked as a translator for NPR’s Investigative Unit and as a producer on the Latin American desk at Reuters TV. As a freelance reporter she has covered gender and sexuality, human rights, public health, entertainment, sports, the environment and politics in the United States, Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. Her work has been broadcast by NPR, Radio Ambulante, GlobalPost, PBS NewsHour and Reuters TV. She is fully fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational Portuguese.
