D Tour (2009), his first feature length film as director and producer, has won several awards including the Golden Gate Award for Bay Area Feature Documentary from the San Francisco International Film Festival and the Jury Prize for Best Documentary from the Bend Film Festival. D Tour premiered nationwide on the PBS Emmy award-winning program Independent Lens in November 2009. He is currently working on a second feature film project with underground "budget rock" legends, The Mummies. As a freelance Director, Producer, Videographer and Editor, Jim Granato's past clients include Apple, Adobe, Alcoholics Anonymous, Topcon, The Exploratorium, University of San Francisco, University of California San Francisco, CAL Berkeley and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. His work has been seen on Netflix, PBS, HBO and on screens worldwide.

Combining a band road trip with a personal quest for an organ donor, Pat, must care of his failing kidney. He's part of the organ donor recipient community, a group whose lives become entwined in life and death. On one side are those who are saved through tragedy or by a gift from a living donor; on the other are the families of the donors, who are offered a chance for hope and bittersweet resolution for their loss. D TOUR is filled with unexpected twists and the joys and sorrows of life.

Jim Granato was commissioned to travel to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park in Utah to make the following video for Villa Albertine San Francisco and Villa Albertine Miami. French visual artist Hicham Berrada and Oakland poet Matthew Zapruder traveled to Bryce Canyon to compose a visual and written tribute to French composer Olivier Messiaen and create a landscape through the history of its metamorphosis.

Artist Nick Diphillipo has been designing and casting bells and other objects for over thirty years. He teaches bell making at The Crucible in Oakland, California, as well as other foundry-related subjects.
