Sunrise2Sunrise is a story about a woman named Ella Rae who is in her 5th stage of grief (see: Kubler-Ross Model) – Acceptance. Over the course of our time with her, we see Ella go through the process of Acceptance, Exploration, Experimentation, New confidence, & Transformation. This magical-realism immersive experience is about our process of reinvention and reclamation of self.
Contemporary classical duo release their debut EP, The Moth, through the label & publishing house, Independent Ear. British composer, Stephanie Singer, teamed up with producer, Ray Archie, to craft four pieces that detail the life-cycle of a moth: Egg, Mask, Gold, Ideal. This EP follows Singer’s Spring 2017 work Tapestries which was dubbed “disarming and wonderful” by Vice Magazine.
I composed this song in the late 90's and am honored that my friend (and the great drummer) Zeke Martin included it in his recent release.
“It’s Our Time” was released on MixLuv Records, in conjunction with NYC’s CMJ Music Marathon. I was the EP and composer. The track includes an all-star lineup of musicians including, former EMI-Caroline recording artist and NYC songstress Lachi, Gary Nesta Pine of Wailers fame, award winning singer Shea Rose, Scott Sharrard from The Allman Brothers band, Omar, and artists from across the globe.
