Kalyn Jacobs is a Filmmaker and Photographer from Chicago, IL based in New York City. A graduate of Howard University, Kalyn’s work is influenced by the ever-changing human emotional experience and healing. She was awarded Best USA Cinematography for short film “Ovals: I Don’t Want to Love Myself” at the 2020 New York Cinematography Awards. And the lastest film she photographed, “Tallahassee” premiered at the Blackstar Film Festival in 2021 and is now playing on The New Yorker magazine website.
