O barato de Iacanga (Taking Iacanga)
Taking Iacanga (O barato de Iacanga) reveals the story behind a legendary music festival held in Brazil in the 70's and 80's. The festival was the biggest hippie gathering in Brazil. It was considered our Woodstock. The film includes rare musical performances from many Brazilian artists, such as Gilberto Gil and João Gilberto. Available on Netflix Brasil and Canal Curta, the movie won the Jury Prize as Best Documentary at IN-EDIT Brasil (2019), the Publics Choice Prize at Arquivo em Cartaz (2019) and nominee for Best Documentary Feature at Grande Premio do Cinema Brasileiro (2020).
