Real traffickers are no longer willing to take risks. They lend the helm to underage boys who become smugglers by necessity, forced to lead the rest of the migrants to safety. Either that or death. But who are the alleged smugglers and who is the actual human trafficker? Is the Italian legal system proving able to distinguish between them and hold the right persons accountable?
