Tânia Cypriano is a Brazilian native living in New York, and working in documentary film and television for over twenty years. Most recently, she has also directed and produced short-format episodes for documentary and travel series on the web. Her own films and videos have won several international awards, and screened around the world in places such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Jerusalem Film Festival, the Amsterdam Documentary Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival. Her television credits include working on documentaries for PBS, the History Channel, the Wall Street Journal Television, NHK, GNT in Brazil and Channel 4 in England. Tânia has extended experience in camera, editing, stock footage research, associate and line production. In these capacities she has worked for clients such as Montefiore Medical Center and Portico Research, in documentaries with Bill Moyers, Martin Scorsese, Kent Jones, Heddy Honigmann and Nelson Pereira dos Santos.
