My professional career started with directing for Lithuanian National Radio and Television. Since 2012, I have mainly worked freelance as a director and producer in TV and creative documentary. My films have been screened at numerous festivals across Europe and the USA, and broadcasted on networks such as ARTE, VRT-CANVAS, Al Jazeera. In 2022. I also work as a producer and researcher for international film and TV projects. My field of interest covers topics related to migration, history and identity.
The 19-year-old Alexander and the 25-year-old Kilian have voluntarily committed to six months of service with the German Bundeswehr in Lithuania. Why did the two decide to take part in this mission? And what challenges does this foreign deployment entail?
