Request QuoteI'm a freelance cinematographer based in Mérida, Venezuela, who has covered from protests, politics, environmental issues and extreme sports stories. I recently was the main videographer for an Associated Press documentary called Vanishing Venezuela, that details the work of scientists trying to study the country's last glacier. For that video, I filmed ground images in Mérida during massive blackouts, interviews and also their first climbing expedition to the Humboldt glacier at over 14,000 feet. I've also filmed in the Himalayas and recently in Venezuela's largest peak, Pico Bolívar. I'm passionate about filming, climbing, nature and photography, and very versatile when it comes to filming and editing. I have my own equipment, which includes a MavicPro 2 drone and Sony A7 iii camera, with a varied set of lenses.

LaCaravanaEscuela is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to the teaching of timeless artisanal trades, with a specific emphasis on the transformative art of blacksmithing. Our intention is spreading ancient knowledge to rural communities, enabling them to meet urgent needs throughout Latin America, starting with a focus in Venezuela. In order to serve such remote places, LaCaravanaEscuela has developed an itinerant educational system that allows for an experience that is both honest and practical, and fitted to the needs of each individual community.
I was the main videographer for this short documentary done by Associated Press. The story chronicles the efforts of Venezuelan scientists to study their last remaining glacier, the Humboldt. I filmed images on the ground and their glacier expedition to the Humboldt at over 14,000 ft.
