I live and work in the quickly growing boom town of Raleigh, North Carolina and own and operate a production company with my wife Margaret. The name of the company is based on my father's favorite exclamation of joy "Hey, OK!" We create promotional videos for businesses, individuals, and nonprofits as well as music videos, documentaries, and short films. Jonny Gillette 2023 Cinematography Reel!
Based out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Bridge Builders is a nonprofit specializing in providing humanitarian assistance to immigrants eager to develop relationships with the people in their new community.
This reel contains a variety of examples of our work photographed over the past two years ranging from drone nature cinematography, music videos, promotional videos, and television ads.
This project was commissioned by Duke University Press to serve as a documentation of the 100th Anniversary of an academic journal they have helped produced called HAHR.
2025 Spot for Central Carolina Community College designed to help the institution and it's corporate partners fundraised an additional 30 million dollars for the completion of the manufacturing learning/teaching space. We provided production company services, DP, drone, interviewing and directing services.
